Indian women’s cricket star Smriti Mandhana will get hitched to music composer and filmmaker Palash Muchhal today in an intimate wedding in Sangli. The marriage kept under wraps is likely to see significant participation of the Indian cricket fraternity and a close-knit circle of celebrity friends.
Smriti Mandhana’s Wedding Guest List
The couple has maintained a small circle of around 140 guests, inviting only very close friends and family members. Contrary to speculations of a Bollywood gala, the ceremony will be confined to only their immediate circle.
Among the key guests are Palash’s sister Palak Muchhal, who attended the pre-wedding functions, and music composer Mithoon at the mehndi event.
Present is a large contingent from the cricketing world comprising Smriti’s teammates such as Shafali Verma, Jemimah Rodrigues, Richa Ghosh, Renuka Singh, Radha Yadav, and Shreyanka Patil among others, who have already been involved with the Haldi, sangeet performances, and the much-talked-about pre-wedding cricket match between “Team Bride” and “Team Groom.”
