ICC Women's ODI Rankings: Following an incredible run in the current ICC Women's Cricket World Cup, India's star opener Smriti Mandhana has solidified her hold on the top spot in the ICC Women's ODI Rankings, hitting a career-high rating of 828. She demonstrated her class and consistency with a fluid 109 against New Zealand and an undefeated 34 against Bangladesh, which put her almost 100 points ahead of Australia's Ashleigh Gardner, who was in second place.
Mandhana's most recent accomplishment represents a turning point in her career. The Indian vice-captain, who was also named the ICC Women's Player of the Month in September 2025, keeps raising the bar for contemporary Indian batting. Her ability to be both aggressive and composed has made her an invaluable member of India's top order.
With 828 points to Gardner's 731, which represents the dominance gap she has created, Mandhana's consistency ensured she remained far ahead at the top despite Australia's Ashleigh Gardner's undefeated century against England.
Pratika Rawal, India's youthful opener, made a stunning leap in the most recent rankings despite being sidelined for the rest of the tournament due to injury. Her stellar start to international cricket is reflected in her current ranking of 27th with 564 points.
India had one of the most effective opening pairings in recent memory thanks to Pratika's daring strategy at the top and Mandhana's poise.
In the updated ICC charts, a number of players outside of India made noteworthy moves. With scores of 90 and 31, Laura Wolvaardt of South Africa moved up two spots to third place, while Amy Jones of England moved up to ninth place following a run of strong innings. Annabel Sutherland of Australia made the largest jump, jumping 16 spots to 16th place, demonstrating her increasing influence in the one-day format.
With 778 points, Sophie Ecclestone of England remains the top bowler, followed by Alana King of Australia (698), and Ashleigh Gardner (689). Deepti Sharma of India continues to hold her position as one of the top spinners in the world at third (669).
Gardner continues to lead the all-rounders chart with 503 points, but Marizanne Kapp (422) has closed the gap and surpassed Hayley Matthews to take second place. Despite improving her batting, Annabel Sutherland fell to fourth place.
