The victory in his 400th tour-level match sees Sinner extend his winning streak on indoor hard courts to 24, a run that dates back to November 2023. The four-time Grand Slam winner also moves one step closer to reclaiming top spot in the ATP rankings, a feat he could achieve should he go all the way in Paris after top seed Carlos Alcaraz's shock second round exit.
