"I am very pleased with the support the people of Kolkata give to the national team and to me, and I feel great being here", he said. Messi was accompanied by his Inter Miami teammate and Uruguay star Luis Suarez and Argentina's Rodrigo de Paul. Indian Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan also met the soccer superstar earlier in the day. Messi is in India as part of a tour where he is scheduled to attend concerts, youth football clinics, a Padel tournament and launch charitable initiatives at events in Kolkata, Hyderabad, Mumbai and New Delhi.
