In video provided by North Korea’s official news agency, KCNA, which Reuters cannot independently verify, the players were welcomed by sports minister Kim Il Guk, officials, and their family members at Pyongyang International Airport on Saturday (November 15). "We just did what we have to do. I'm determined to train even harder and do my part better to make the World Cup forever our nation's World Cup," said Yu Jong Hyang, who was awarded the Golden Ball. North Korea defeated Netherlands 3-0 in the final of the U-17 Women's World Cup on November 9 to win the team's two consecutive championships and their fourth title, according to FIFA’s website.
