WHITE FLASH 12. (SOUNDBITE) (Spanish) REAL MADRID COACH, XABI ALONSO, ON MBAPPE, SAYING: “Mbappe is very important. The goals, are obviously the most fundamental thing, but his personality, his leadership and the influence he has on the others day to day are other attributes that are fundamental for a team to be cohesive and united, and then scoring goals is a natural talent he has.” 13. WHITE FLASH 14. SOUNDBITE) (Spanish) REAL MADRID COACH, XABI ALONSO, ON THE MATCH, SAYING: “We have to be a bit better in everything, clearly. In those moments when our opponents are pushing us back and we have to be strong, to keep the distances together. But there were times in the first half that we did, frankly, really well. We can’t forget that. Where we didn’t do well, we will do better, because we need to solidify our defence to match our attack. We’ve had matches where we struggled to score, and then Vini’s (Vinicius Junior) goal (which was disallowed) was a real shame. But today we needed to win. We managed that. We changed things up a bit and now we need to do that in LaLiga too.” 15. WHITE FLASH 16. (SOUNDBITE) (English) REAL MADRID COACH, XABI ALONSO, ON THE MATCH, SAYING: “Yeah, not surprised. I want to also congratulate Olympiacos and (coach Jose Luis) Mendilibar. I have great admiration for him, what he's doing, the great connection that he has with the supporters. I have noticed it. The team spirit is very good. They have great quality. Probably, they don't have as many points as they deserve, and, for sure, with the players, he has a great impact. He has great qualities and a very, very, talented midfielder, and we will watch him.” 17. WHITE FLASH 18. ALONSO LEAVING PRESS CONFERENCE STORY: Real Madrid striker Kylian Mbappe scored four goals, including the second-fastest hat-trick in Champions League history, to earn them a 4-3 comeback victory over hosts Olympiacos on Wednesday (November 26). Mbappe's first three goals came in a spell of six minutes and 42 seconds in the first half, but it was a tough encounter for the Spaniards before they earned their first victory at Olympiacos on their fifth attempt, and ended a three-game run across all competitions without a win. Real moved up to fifth place in the standings on 12 points, with the top eight earning automatic qualification for the knockout stage and with three matchdays remaining. Olympiacos dropped to 33rd on two points. (Production: Louiza Vradi, Stephane Mahe, Kurt Michael Hall)
