Jon Jones broke the silence on the death of his older brother Artur Jones by posting details of his funeral services on his social media. The former UFC heavyweight champion has asked Arthur Jones’s close associates to join the service in his memory, and urged media members and fans to give them privacy.

Jones took to his Twitter to share the details regarding the funeral service for his brother, Arthur Jones, the former NFL defensive lineman for the Baltimore Ravens and Super Bowl champion. The funeral will be held on October 11th at City Church, Binghamton, New York.

Who was Arthur Jones?

Arthur Jones was a skilled NFL defensive lineman, most notable for his contribution to the Baltimore Ravens’ winning Super Bowl XLVII. Born in 1986, he played for the Ravens, Indianapolis Colts, and Washington, becoming known for his strength and leadership. A member of a renowned athletic family, he was brother to UFC champion Jon Jones and NFL superstar Chandler Jones. Arthur died in October 2025 at the age of 39, leaving a legacy for both his footballing accomplishments and charitable work.

Arthur Jones passed away on October 3 2025. The news was confirmed by his alma mater, Syracuse University, and his former NFL teams. The news was shocking for all the circles that knew of the Super Bowl winner. No official cause of death has been shared by his family or close ones.
