India vs Pakistan Asia Cup Final: The much-awaited Asia Cup 2025 Final between India and Pakistan started with India winning the toss and deciding to bowl first. Suryakumar Yadav, India captain and commonly referred to as SKY, justified his move, stating he trusted chasing under lights.

In the toss, Suryakumar Yadav stated, “It seems a good wicket. The wicket improves under lights. We have been scoring well first but we want to chase today. The groundsmen have done a great job with the wickets here. The brand of cricket we have been playing for the past 5-6 games is quite good. Hardik is missing out due to a niggle. Bumrah, Dube, and Rinku are in.”

India have made a few changes to their XI, recalling Jasprit Bumrah, Shivam Dube, and Rinku Singh as they seek to build on their winning momentum.

India vs Pakistan Asia Cup Final: Pakistan Captain’s Reaction

Pakistan captain Salman Agha expressed satisfaction at the opportunity to bat first.

“Happily ready to bat first. We are very enthusiastic and eager to play this match. We haven’t played a flawless game and hopefully we play one today. Same side. We have played on these pitches for a while and it will be the same.”

The platform is set for a hard-hitting showdown in the Dubai lights as India strive to chase and win their maiden Asia Cup championship in the 2025 tournament, while Pakistan will seek to put up a hard total and bring an end to India’s unblemished record.
