India and Pakistan clashed again in the Asia Cup 2025 Super Four match at Dubai International Stadium on Sunday. Preparations for the game were still high on drama following the recent handshake debacle, when India skipper Suryakumar Yadav had refused to shake hands with his Pakistani counterpart after their last encounter.

Whereas Pakistan had threatened to withdraw ahead of their last week’s UAE match and had even shown up late for the venue, there was no drama here. Salman Agha-led Pakistan arrived on time for the stadium, with the recent pep talk by PCB chairman seen to have been aimed at encouraging the players.
