India vs Pakistan, Asia Cup 2025: Pakistan’s Asia Cup 2025 innings was cut short at a modest 127-9, their third-lowest score in the T20 format of the competition. Even with initial rockets from Sahibzada Farhan and Shaheen Afridi, the side could not establish partnerships and grow the score thanks to an economical and well-rounded Indian bowling effort.

India vs Pakistan, Asia Cup 2025: Kuldeep, Axar and Bumrah Dominate

Kuldeep Yadav was the bowlers’ choice, picking 3 wickets for a mere 18 runs from 4 overs, including important middle-order victims such as Sahibzada Farhan and Hasan Nawaz. Axar Patel assisted wonderfully, picking 2 wickets for 18 runs and disrupting Pakistan’s rhythm with tight lines and deceptive variations. Hardik Pandya and Jasprit Bumrah were just as effective, with Bumrah taking 2 wickets and giving away a mere 28 runs in his 4 overs, and Hardik making early inroads to signal the start of the tone.

Ind vs Pak, Asia Cup 2025: Performance Highlights for Pakistan

Sahibzada Farhan scored 40 off 44 balls, trying to stabilize the innings with calculated aggression. Shaheen Afridi added a late flourish with 33 off only 16 deliveries and gave some glimpses of hitting ability but was not supported by the remainder of the batting lineup. Fakhar Zaman chipped in with 17 runs, and the other batsmen did not contribute much and resulted in frequent collapse during the innings.

IND vs PAK, Asia Cup 2025: India in Command

The Indian discipline in bowling and aggressive fielding kept Pakistan from getting into a scoring rhythm ever. Extras were few, and the Indian fielders supported the bowlers to the hilt, stifling singles and taking every chance provided. Pakistan’s failure to rotate the strike and losing wickets early proved to be expensive, leaving India to chase a relatively paltry target and establishing them firmly in command of the game.

As Pakistan scored only 127-9, India will go for chasing the score with confidence and carry on their winning streak in the Asia Cup T20 2025 match.
