EXTERIOR OF CAMP NOU STADIUM STORY: Ecstatic Barcelona fans arrived on Saturday (November 22) at the renovated Camp Nou stadium to watch a Barcelona match at their iconic stadium for the first time in two-and-a-half years. The emotional homecoming includes the reopening of its partially renovated ground, with a temporarily reduced capacity, as part of its ambitious redevelopment project. "It’s an exciting, spectacular moment, and we’re going to experience it to the fullest,” said Barca fan Diego Martinez before entering the arena. The capacity currently allows 45,401 spectators, well below the 105,000 seats the venue is intended to have once the renovation is finished. While the renovation means that fans will not yet witness the stadium at full capacity, the temporary arrangements still offer a heartfelt opportunity for many fans to return to their spiritual home.
