The legendary wrestler Brock Lesnar made his way back to the ramp at full spectacle on Monday night's WWE Raw, only to dramatically slip and fall flat on his back as he made his trademark stomp.
The fall happened right before the final brawl between the two WarGames teams, which ruined the build-up and made things rather comic instead.
The segment was to build up the tension for the upcoming PPV Survivor Series: WarGames 2025, in which Lesnar's team-with Bron Breakker, Bronson Reed, Drew McIntyre, and Logan Paul-take on the babyface squad starring Roman Reigns, CM Punk, Cody Rhodes, Jey Uso, and Jimmy Uso and it was Lesnar's fall that surprisingly overshadowed the looming match itself.
Lesnar quickly regained his composure after the slip, flashed a grin, and walked down the ramp, showing the usual showmanship even in an unscripted faux pas.
For several commentators, Lesnar's fall reminded fans that even the greatest performers make mistakes. Yet his quick recovery and continued presence proved professionalism.
Speaking story-wise, it won't have much of an effect on the outcome of the match-falling is more unplanned fun than a plot-twister.
With that said, however, it might slightly shift the fan narrative: rather than purely building fear of Lesnar's dominance, the moment humanised him a little, creating an opening for comedic interplay or rival taunts ahead of the big event. But rest assured, the tensions, team dynamics, and rivalry are as heated as ever.
The momentum now carries a new talking point. Since the fall has already been making its rounds as a highlight clip, WWE can add layers to it: opponents mocking Lesnar’s “slip”, Lesnar using it as a psychological weapon, or commentators referencing the incident in promos.
Either way, the fall has added buzz ahead of the big night, and fans will be watching to see how WWE stitches this into the larger narrative.
Beyond Lesnar's viral entrance, WWE RAW had a loaded match card with some big progression toward the Last Time Is Now Tournament and WarGames.
Gunther beat Carmelo Hayes: The Imperium leader overpowered Hayes to storm into the semifinals, and he looks every bit dominant as he eyes tournament glory.
Rey Mysterio defeated JD McDonag: The Lucha legend earned a clean victory in a speedy bout, keeping tensions between Judgment Day members high.
Solo Sikoa defeated Penta via doctor stoppage: The hard-hitting contest ended after doctors intervened, sending Sikoa into the semifinals.
Logan Paul & Drew McIntyre defeated The Usos: The win gave their WarGames team the crucial numerical advantage heading into the final confrontation.
The show then ended with the massive WarGames brawl featuring Lesnar and his slip-turned-highlight moment.
