The Ajit Agarkar-led selection committee has named India’s 15-member squad for the Asia Cup 2025. Suryakumar Yadav will lead the team, with Shubman Gill as his deputy. India will defend their title in the tournament, which begins next month in the UAE.
The squad includes a mix of youth and experience. Hardik Pandya and SHivam Dube provide all-round depth, while Abhishek Sharma and Tilak Varma bolster the batting. The pace attack will be led by Harshit Rana, Arshdeep Singh, and Jasprit Bumrah. Axar Patel provides balance, while Kuldeep Yadav and Varun Chakaravarthy offer spin alternatives.
India are placed in Group A alongside UAE, Pakistan, and Oman. They begin their campaign on September 10 against UAE in Dubai. A high-voltage clash with Pakistan follows on September 13 at the same venue. Their last group match is against Oman on September 19 in Abu Dhabi.
The top teams will then move to the Super Four stage, and the final is set for September 28.
