Bangladesh will look to wrap up the T20I series against the Netherlands when the two sides meet in the second match at the Sylhet International Cricket Stadium on Sunday. Skipper Litton Das will aim to continue his team’s strong form after a dominant win in the series opener.
Bangladesh won the toss and chose to bowl first in the second T20I. The decision gives them another chance to put pressure on the Netherlands’ batting order early on.
In the first match, the Tigers outclassed the Dutch with both bat and ball. Taskin Ahmed destroyed the Netherlands’ batting lineup with four wickets, restricting them to just 136/8 in 20 overs.
Chasing a modest total, Litton Das smashed a 29-ball 54, while Saif Hassan added a quickfire 36 off 19 balls. Bangladesh reached the target in just 14 overs, sealing a commanding eight-wicket victory.
Cricket fans in India will not be able to watch the game on television.
However, the live streaming of the second T20I between Bangladesh and the Netherlands is available on the FanCode app and website.
