ENGLAND CRICKETER MATTHEW POTTS BOWLING DURING TRAINING SESSION  16. ENGLAND CRICKET TEAM CAPTAIN BEN STOKES STANDING AT TRAINING SESSION STORY: The Australian and English cricket teams prepared on Tuesday (November 18) ahead of the first Ashes test that is set to begin on Friday (November 21). The Ashes series openers in Australia have traditionally been held at The Gabba in Brisbane, where England last won a match in 1986, but this series will begin with a match in Perth instead. "It feels really exciting. We've had a good build up. A few of us were in New Zealand beforehand prepping for this. I feel like we've had a good prep leading to the first test," English cricketer Josh Tongue told reporters in Perth.  England will head into the series with arguably their quickest fast-bowling line up in years, featuring Mark Wood, Jofra Archer, Gus Atkinson, Josh Tongue and Brydon Carse, while captain Ben Stokes is also expected to bowl. England last won the Ashes in 2015 and have not won in Australia since 2011, with Australia winning their last three home series 5-0, 4-0 and 4-0.
