India men’s football team head coach Khalid Jamil has announced a 30-man probables list for the AFC Asian Cup 2027 qualifiers against Singapore. The camp begins in Bengaluru on September 20, with all players reporting a day earlier.
This squad marks the return of legendary striker Sunil Chhetri, who retired from international football earlier this year but is now back to boost the Blue Tigers’ chances.

India will play two crucial back-to-back matches in the final round of the Asian Cup 2027 qualifiers. The first match takes place on October 9 at the National Stadium, Singapore. The second game will be held on October 14 at the Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, Margao.
Players from Mohun Bagan SG and FC Goa, who are currently playing in the AFC Champions League Two, will join the squad later. Jamil has also kept five players on standby, including two from the U23 national side and three senior players. Their names will be revealed soon.
