Apple has launched its highly-awaited iPhone 17 series, including the iPhone 17, iPhone Air, and iPhone 17 Pro. Although the phones offer exciting new features, how much you pay is heavily determined by where you purchase them. Taxes, import taxes, and exchange rates all have a significant impact, so some areas are much cheaper than others.
In the USA, the iPhone 17 begins at Rs 70,512, which is one of the cheapest markets for Apple's new launch. Even the Pro Max, which goes up to Rs 1,05,812, is still cheaper than in other nations.

Japan and Hong Kong are also equally priced, with the iPhone 17 beginning at Rs 77,880 in Japan and Rs 78,166 in Hong Kong. The tax-free shopping benefit of the city makes it a very attractive one. In the UAE, the prices start at Rs 81,643, which makes it another affordable choice for consumers.
India, however, is among the costliest locations to obtain the new iPhone. The standard version costs Rs 82,900, and the iPhone 17 Pro Max reaches Rs 1,49,900. While buying overseas might appear to be an attractive option, one is advised to think about such issues as warranties and customs charges prior to importing.

The 2025 range delivers significant upgrades: a 120Hz refresh rate across all the models, an aluminium frame structure for the Pro models, and a 48MP Fusion camera throughout the range. Storage begins at 256GB.
The iPhone 17 is available in multiple colours, including black, lavender, mist blue, sage, and white, while the Pro Max is offered in silver, cosmic orange, and deep blue. Pre-orders begin on September 12, with sales beginning on September 19.
