When & Where Solar Eclipse Visible

Following the total lunar eclipse on 7 September, the final solar eclipse is on the night of 21 September 2025 at 11:00 PM and continuing till 3:23 AM (IST).

This sun occurrence would not qualify to fall under total solar eclipses for India, New Zealand, Fiji, Antarctica and southern Australia will experience varying degrees of solar cover. For some regions of Antarctica, up to 86% of the Sun will be hidden and thus making it an unprecedented celestial spectacle for those within its path.

What is Astrological Impact on Surya Grahan?

Surya Grahan from an astrological perspective the eclipse will happen in the bhava of Virgo (Kanya Rashi) specifically in the Uttara Phalguni Nakshatra. During the time of the eclipse this peculiar planetary alignment where the Sun, Moon and Mercury will be in Virgo, while Saturn gazes in fear from Pisces Mars continues to stay in Libra, Jupiter in Capricorn, Rahu in Aquarius and Ketu along with Venus in Leo.
