Mars is the dusty red neighbor probably keeps secrets from the birth of our solar system. A study reveals that planet in ancient and thick blobs buried deep in its mantle with rich elements possibly holding some of the earliest planetary born secrets.
Blobs are found through seismic data obtained from NASA’s Insight lander are believed to be remnants of early protoplanets which never fully developed into planets as such.
Mars Quake Data Discovering
NASA’s insight in which showcased Martian tremors from 2018 to 2022, recorded seismic vibrations, which hinted to unusual anomalies beneath the surface. The researchers realized that certain quake signal traveled slowly through some regions.
Upon a closer look at such areas and they turned out into solid lumps of material around some four kilometers in size densities much higher than their surroundings.

Ancient Indeed Survivors of a Chaotic Era
Planetary scientist Constantinos Charalambous, who is the lead author of the study could describe the Martian mantle as studded with ancient fragments. Such blobs came nearly 4.5 billion years ago on Mars during the very ringing in then of the planetary formation era in the solar system.
Earth, where tectonic activity and mantle convection recycle material and Mars has remained geologically quiet and thus allowing these alien fragments to remain intact, effectively freezing pieces of cosmic history inside the planet.

Why Would They Survive on Mars?
Earth’s tectonic plates endlessly urge them to dissipate all semblance of primordial structures. It lacks subduction zones or an active large scale mantle melting procedure.
These blobs, although surrounded with searing heat approaching 1,500°C, have remained preserved over modern billions of years. Researchers explain that had similar inclusions been lodged inside Earth and they would have been deleted out of existence by now.
Mars Quakes & Where They Come from
Mars has not tectonic plates and still it does trembles and those so-called Mars quakes are generally derived because of landslides, cooling and crack formations or meteoroid impacts. Not only did insight’s seismic data reveal such mysterious blobs and it could also provide further evidence of a hidden underground ocean. Those two findings juxtaposed saw Mars, rather barren as transformed into all source sifting secrets regarding itself and the early days of our solar system.
