With AI-powered extended reality (XR) at the core, the event promises to showcase Samsung’s next leap into immersive technology. Fans worldwide are eager to see how Samsung’s new headset will rival Apple’s Vision Pro and redefine the mixed-reality experience.

What is Project Moohan?

Project Moohan is widely believed to be Samsung’s first-ever XR headset. While Samsung hasn’t officially confirmed the name, multiple leaks suggest it could be the company’s biggest step into spatial computing.

Samsung has called it the “groundbreaking first product built for the Android XR platform,” developed in collaboration with Google and Qualcomm. This makes it a direct rival to Apple’s Vision Pro, but powered by Android XR and the Snapdragon XR2+ Gen 2 chip.

Early reports hint that the headset could feature dual 4K micro-LED displays, four tracking cameras, and a battery life of about two hours. Weighing around 545 grams, it may also be lighter than the Vision Pro, offering greater comfort.

The event will be live-streamed globally, giving users a chance to witness Samsung’s entry into the AI-powered XR segment.
