
Samsung Galaxy S26 series is for global announcement in January 2026 if the company goes ahead with its historical lay of the land, Indian consumers could expect the launch somewhere between January 15 to January 25 with global availability. The S-series always starts Samsung's smartphone calendar and S26 too may just fall in that category without causing any delay.
As per leaks and past pricing traditions, Samsung does not change in price in this series. The Galaxy S26 Ultra, S26 Edge and S26 Pro are expected to be priced similarly to the S25 series. The Ultra should start at about Rs. 1,20,000, the Edge at about Rs. .90,000 and the Pro at about Rs. 75,000, with ultimate prices based on RAM and storage configurations.

The Galaxy S26 are powered with Snapdragon 8 Gen 5, which may render even superior AI performance and power optimization. The charging speed on the Ultra variant might finally receive a bump, with 60W fast charging, which is an increase of 33% over the previous cap of 45W with the 5,000mAh battery will remain unchanged from the older Ultra iterations. The standard S26 and Edge variants may continue with 25W charging support.
The Galaxy S26 Ultra is shaping up to be Samsung's most refined flagship till date. Expected highlights include display of 6.89-inch AMOLED, 1.2mm ultra-thin bezels with charging 60W wired, 5,000mAh battery. It is slim build under 8mm thickness with reduced weight and Titanium body with more sophisticated camera arrangement. Its Processor is Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 Elite and expect to use third-gen anti-reflective glass from Samsung for the better sunlight readability.

Samsung seems to replace the Plus with S26 Edge, thus catching some attention. Design is 5.5mm thin, one of the slenderest flagships electrifying with display 6.66-inch AMOLED panel, Titanium with premium materials and 25W fast wired charging. The Edge is for those who want a big screen in an unbelievably thin package.
Compact yet powerful, the Galaxy S26 Pro is the right choice for one-handed-use fans. Display is 6.27-inch AMOLED with very thin bezels adds Qi2 wireless magnetic charging, a Samsung-first with Rounded edges, lightweight, most likely titanium frame. The Pro is going to shine with this new wireless charging tech and might become a strong competitor to Pixel 10.
