The upcoming Samsung Galaxy S26 is already making headlines with exciting leaks revealing new design and hardware upgrades. The phone, expected to launch in early 2026, could be one of Samsung’s most refined flagships yet.

According to reliable tipster @UniverseIce, the Galaxy S26 may feature a super-slim 6.9mm body, making it even thinner than the Galaxy S25 by 0.2mm. This would make it one of the slimmest flagship phones in Samsung’s history, signalling a major design evolution.

And, Samsung Galaxy S26, S26+, and S26 Ultra all use the same 3x camera specification, which is as follows: 3x camera : 10MP , ISOCELL , 1/3.94" , 1.0μm , F2.4,36°

The leaked design illustrations show a triple-camera setup in a vertical, oval-shaped module that looks similar to the Galaxy Z Fold 7. This shift could give the Galaxy S26 a more unified and premium appearance.

Samsung Galaxy S26 Launch Date in India

Samsung is expected to unveil the Galaxy S26 series globally in early 2026, likely around February, following the company’s usual Galaxy Unpacked event timeline. The India launch is expected to take place shortly after the global debut, possibly within a few weeks.

Samsung Galaxy S26 Price in India

While Samsung hasn’t confirmed any pricing details, early estimates suggest that the Galaxy S26 could start at around ₹85,000 in India for the base model. The S26+ might be priced near ₹1,05,000, while the S26 Ultra could cost over ₹1,25,000, depending on storage and chipset variants.

Samsung Galaxy S26: Full Qi2 Wireless Charging

One of the most exciting leaks is the addition of a magnetic ring on the rear panel, suggesting that the Galaxy S26 will fully support Qi2 wireless charging. This means it could be Samsung’s first device with complete Qi2 integration, unlike previous models that only had “Qi2 Ready” compatibility and required special cases.

If true, the Galaxy S26 will rival Apple’s MagSafe system in both charging speed and magnetic accessory compatibility. This move could significantly improve user convenience and battery efficiency.

Samsung Galaxy S26: Camera, Display, & Hardware

Leaks suggest that the Galaxy S26 will feature a 6.3-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with a peak brightness of 3,000 nits — perfect for outdoor visibility. It will continue to include an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor for biometric security.

The camera setup could include:

  • 50MP primary sensor
  • 50MP ultra-wide lens
  • 10MP telephoto lens

Under the hood, the S26 may run on Samsung’s Exynos 2600 chip, built using a 2nm process, with the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 expected for select regions. This combination promises better power efficiency, faster performance, and improved AI capabilities.

Samsung is likely to continue its three-model lineup — Galaxy S26, S26+, and S26 Ultra — without reintroducing Pro or Edge versions.

Samsung Galaxy S26: Battery & Software Expectations

The Galaxy S26 is rumoured to pack a 4,300mAh battery supporting 25W wired and 15W wireless charging. Though not a huge capacity jump, improved chip efficiency and Qi2 charging could extend battery life.

It will likely run One UI 8.5 based on Android 16, offering enhanced AI features and smoother animations. Users can also expect 5G, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6.0, NFC, GPS, and a USB 3.2 Type-C port, alongside an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance.

What Makes Galaxy S26 Stand Out?

The Galaxy S26 seems set to be a compact yet powerful flagship, focusing on design refinement and smarter charging technology rather than massive hardware leaps. With a thinner frame, full Qi2 support, and the latest 2nm chipset, Samsung appears to be aiming for efficiency, portability, and innovation in equal measure.

Fans can expect an official announcement from Samsung in early 2026, possibly during its usual Galaxy Unpacked event.
