Realme has launched the GT 8 Pro in India, labeling it as its most ambitious flagship to date. The phone comes in with a newly designed camera module in partnership with Ricoh, a high-end chipset and a display targeted at gamers and content consumers.
In this case, the device introduces a significant jump from last year’s GT 7 Pro through the new modular design it features, along with top of the line hardware.
Realme GT 8 Pro Price in India
Realme has priced the GT 8 Pro squarely in the premium bracket: the 12GB/256GB variant starts at Rs. 72,999, while the 16GB/512GB variant costs Rs. 78,999. Additionally, buyers can avail of bank discounts worth Rs. 5,000.
Furthermore, early adopters will receive a free set of swappable camera modules. The limited Dream Edition, designed in collaboration with the Aston Martin F1 team, comes in only one 16GB/512GB configuration at Rs. 79,999.
Realme GT 8 Pro Features
GT 8 Pro offers a 6.78-inch QHD+ AMOLED display with a smooth refresh rate of 144Hz and a whopping peak brightness of 4,000 nits. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip underlies this device; it is cooled by a massive 7,000 sq mm vapor chamber and coupled with a dedicated R1 gaming chip for added computing performance. Realme has also fitted an AI-driven Hyper Vision chip, offering smoother rendering and better computational performance.
One of the major highlights is its design. The phone features detachable camera modules, allowing owners to swap them for circle, square, and a rather futuristic, robot-inspired plate. Ratings for IP66, IP68 and IP69K make the GT 8 Pro more resilient compared with the usual flagship crop in these respects.

But at the core of Realme’s collaboration with Ricoh lies photography. The primary 50-megapixel sensor boasts an anti-glare coating and has exclusive Ricoh GR photo modes, emulating iconic film tones such as Positive, Negative, Standard, Monochrome and High-contrast B&W.
The back also houses a 200-megapixel 3x telephoto shooter and a 50-megapixel ultrawide sensor. For video creators, there’s 4K recording at 120fps with Dolby Vision. A crisp 32-megapixel front camera handles selfies and calls.
