The brand has already launched a dedicated microsite, teasing key highlights of the upcoming phone. While the company hasn’t revealed details about the standard Realme GT 8, the focus remains on the Pro variant for now.
Realme GT 8 Pro: Specifications (Expected)
The Realme GT 8 Pro is expected to feature Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, the latest flagship chipset offering cutting-edge performance and AI capabilities.
To complement the main chip, Realme will include a HyperVision AI processor, designed to improve camera performance, speed, and multitasking.
The smartphone will feature a 6.79-inch QHD+ AMOLED flexible display with a 144Hz refresh rate, 3,200Hz touch sampling rate, and peak brightness of up to 7,000 nits. The panel supports 1.07 billion colours, offering vivid and ultra-smooth visuals.
In the camera department, the GT 8 Pro is expected to sport a triple rear setup — a 50MP main camera, 50MP ultra-wide lens, and a 200MP telephoto sensor co-developed with Ricoh GR.
The phone may offer up to 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and 1TB UFS 4.1 storage, ensuring lightning-fast performance.
Powering the device will be a massive 7,000mAh battery with 120W fast charging, allowing users to get hours of use in just minutes of charging.
What to Expect from the India Launch?
The Realme GT 8 Pro aims to challenge premium flagships like the OnePlus 13 and iQOO 13 in terms of performance and camera capabilities.
With its Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip, 200MP telephoto sensor, and AI-powered HyperVision enhancements, the phone could be one of the most powerful Android flagships of the year.
If Realme maintains an aggressive pricing strategy, the GT 8 Pro might become a strong contender in the Indian premium smartphone market when it launches later this month.
