POCO’s next flagship, the POCO F8 Pro, has surfaced online with an exciting new partnership. A leaked image of its retail box confirms the device will come with ‘Sound by Bose’ audio tuning — a first for the brand.
A photo shared by tipster Abhishek Yadav on X shows the top part of the POCO F8 Pro’s black retail box. It displays the brand’s signature yellow logo and the “Sound by Bose” tag in the corner. The partnership suggests POCO’s focus on improving its multimedia and audio experience.
The collaboration marks POCO’s entry into the premium audio segment. By joining hands with Bose, the brand aims to enhance speaker tuning, depth, and overall sound quality. This partnership puts POCO in line with other smartphone makers like OPPO and iQOO, who have teamed up with premium brands such as Hasselblad and BMW.
The POCO F8 Pro is expected to launch in early 2026 alongside the POCO F8 and F8 Ultra. Reports say it will be based on the Redmi K90 Pro Max, which recently launched in China and also featured Bose tuning.
Leaks suggest the phone will feature a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, a 6.9-inch 2K OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, and run on Android 16-based HyperOS 3. It may house a triple 50MP rear camera setup and include a physical woofer unit for richer sound.
POCO launched the F7 Pro in March 2025, so the F8 Pro might arrive around the same time in March 2026. However, reports suggest that the F8 Pro may not launch in India. Instead, Xiaomi could bring the Redmi K90 Pro Max to the Indian market under its own name.
While the F8 Pro may share much with the Redmi K90 Pro Max, some hardware differences are expected. Early leaks hint that POCO may use a smaller 6,500mAh battery instead of the K90 Pro Max’s 7,560mAh cell. The charging speed might also be slower.
Like the POCO F7 Pro, this upcoming model could also ship without a charger in the box. The brand might continue promoting sustainability and cost efficiency.
POCO’s partnership with Bose shows the company’s shift toward a premium mid-range flagship identity. The collaboration could give the F8 Pro an edge over rivals like iQOO Neo and Realme GT series.
If Bose’s audio expertise enhances real-world performance, the POCO F8 Pro could appeal strongly to users who value a balanced multimedia experience — not just power or camera features.
By focusing on audio quality, design, and performance, POCO is redefining its place in the competitive flagship space. The POCO F8 Pro might well be the brand’s boldest step toward becoming a serious premium contender in 2026.
