The new smartwatch focuses heavily on health tracking and fitness features, bringing advanced sensors and smart connectivity in a stylish circular design.

The Oppo Watch S comes packed with multiple health sensors, setting a new benchmark for smartwatches in its category. It features a 16-channel SpO2 sensor for blood oxygen tracking, an eight-channel heart rate sensor, and an ECG sensor for heart rhythm analysis.

A standout addition is the temperature sensor that can measure the wearer’s arm temperature, making it one of the few smartwatches to offer this feature. Oppo claims these upgrades aim to provide users with more accurate health insights and real-time body condition tracking.

Oppo Watch S: Price and Availability

The Oppo Watch S price starts at CNY 1,299 (around ₹16,000) for the Rhythm Silver and Racing Black models. The Vibrant Green Field variant, featuring a premium cloth strap, costs CNY 1,499 (roughly ₹18,500).

The smartwatch will go on sale in China on October 22 through Oppo’s official online store. It is yet to launch in India. While the Green Field edition gets a cloth strap, the other two options come with rubber straps for better durability and comfort.

The 339mAh battery offers up to 10 days of battery life, or seven days with regular use. With an always-on display, it lasts around four days. Oppo claims that 10 minutes of charging provides 24 hours of use, while a full charge takes about 90 minutes.

The watch is 5ATM + IP68 rated for dust and water resistance and weighs 35g (without strap).

Oppo’s Growing Focus on Health Tech

With the Oppo Watch S, the company strengthens its push into AI-driven health wearables. By combining precise health tracking sensors and smart algorithms, Oppo aims to rival top players like Apple, Samsung, and Huawei in the smartwatch space.

The inclusion of a temperature sensor and ECG monitoring shows Oppo’s strategy to make wearables an essential part of digital health monitoring for users worldwide.
