Oppo officially announced through social media that the F31 series officially debuts in India on September 15 at 12 PM IST. These three phones which are going to mark their debut under the F31 series are Oppo F31 5G, Oppo F31 Pro 5G and Oppo F31 Pro+ 5G.

Oppo is calling the phones the Durable Champions, and it quite clearly suggests the paramount emphasis on ruggedness and performance excellence. The Oppo F31 series comes after the company launched the Oppo F29 series early this year.
Oppo F31 series Price (Expected)
The base Oppo F31 5G will be priced below Rs. 20,000 more affordable compared to the last year F29 which launched at Rs. 23,999. The Pro and Pro+ models are expected to be priced below Rs. 30,000 and below Rs. 35,000. The Pro+ version is the new addition to the chart bolstering the lineup of the series and competing with the other mid-range phones within their prices.

Oppo F31 series: Design & Durability Features
Oppo is focusing on durability with the F31 line, which allegedly boasts three IP ratings IP66, IP68 and IP69. These ratings provide dust protection, submersion under water and resistance to high-pressure jets. Phones are claimed to tolerate exposure to different liquids such as coffee and juice owing to the presence of water sealed mics, reinforced SIM trays and special speaker drainage tech.
The appearance of the models differs the entry-level F31 boasts a square-shaped camera housing with softened edges, the F31 Pro has a centrally positioned squircle-shaped housing and the Pro+ version features a round-shaped housing for the cameras. Different models will be available with different colors and thus addressing individual preferences.

Oppo F31 series: Performance & Battery Life
The F31 series should house a humongous 7,000mAh battery that would deliver prolonged usage for the day to day activities. Camera configurations throughout the line-up are probably a 50MP primary rear sensor along with a 2MP depth sensor and a 32MP front cam for selfies.
Oppo also employs a multi-layer Airbag configuration within the phones to cushion sensitive elements such as the battery and vibration motor from shocks. Extra durability is taken care of through a 360-degree Armour Body tested for MIL-STD-810H military standards and capable of resisting falls from up to 1.8 meters.
With the Oppo F31 series the brand is clearly aiming to blend durability with solid specs and competitive pricing. For Indian consumers looking for a tough yet feature rich smartphone this launch promises to be worth watching.
