OnePlus has confirmed the global launch of its OnePlus 15, highlighting a brand-new Sand Storm colour. This special finish uses a micro-arc oxidation (MAO) treatment on the aluminium frame, creating a ceramic coating that is 3.4 times harder than raw aluminium and 1.3 times tougher than titanium.
The back of the phone has a smooth fibreglass panel, giving it a durable yet premium look. Fans are excited about this official colour, making Sand Storm the main highlight of the upcoming phone.
The OnePlus 15 will also feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset and a powerful cooling system, ensuring smooth performance for gaming and everyday use.
OnePlus 15: Colour
The Sand Storm colour isn’t just about looks. The high-voltage plasma process used on the aluminium frame makes the phone very strong and scratch-resistant. The fibreglass back adds a soft, smooth texture for better grip and a premium feel. OnePlus says this design keeps the phone durable while looking modern and stylish.

OnePlus 15: Fast Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 Chipset
The phone runs on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, built on a 3nm chip. It offers a 20% faster performance than the previous model. This means smoother multitasking, faster gaming, and efficient app use. Combined with the new cooling system, the OnePlus 15 can handle heavy use without heating up.

OnePlus 15: Better Camera Experience
The OnePlus 15 will have a new advanced camera system called the DetailMax Engine for better photos. Early leaks suggest better photos, more accurate colour, and improved low-light performance. This makes it possible for both serious photographers and amateurs to use the phone.
Colour Makes a Difference
With the Sand Storm colour, OnePlus is producing a high-end lifestyle item rather than merely a new phone. The combination of durability, cutting-edge technology, and fashionable design may persuade other smartphone manufacturers to priortize materials and design over performance alone.
