OnePlus has officially confirmed that its next flagship smartphone — the OnePlus 15 — will launch in India on November 13, 2025. The launch event will begin at 7 PM IST, with sales starting at 8 PM IST the same evening.
The new device marks the next major evolution in the company’s flagship lineup, promising cutting-edge performance, improved camera technology, and faster charging.
While the official price of the OnePlus 15 in India has not yet been revealed, industry experts expect it to start around ₹69,999–₹74,999, considering the specs and hardware upgrades. The phone will be available via OnePlus stores, Amazon India, and major retail outlets soon after the launch.
Interestingly, OnePlus has decided to skip the OnePlus 14 model entirely and jump straight to the OnePlus 15. This move aligns with Chinese cultural beliefs, where numbers like 4 and 14 are often avoided due to their association with bad luck and death.
Several Chinese tech companies, including OnePlus’s parent company BBK Electronics, have made similar naming choices in the past.
The OnePlus 15 is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor — the latest and most powerful mobile chipset from Qualcomm.
The chipset promises major improvements in AI performance, energy efficiency, and gaming optimization. Combined with up to 16GB of RAM and 1TB of internal storage, the OnePlus 15 aims to deliver one of the fastest Android experiences in 2025.
OnePlus continues to push the envelope in mobile photography. The OnePlus 15 features a triple 50MP rear camera setup, including:
Battery life takes a big leap this year. The OnePlus 15 packs a 7,300mAh battery, supported by 120W wired and 50W wireless fast charging.
This means users can expect to charge the device from 0 to 100% in under 25 minutes with the wired charger.
The smartphone sports a 6.78-inch BOE Flexible AMOLED display with 1.5K resolution, 165Hz refresh rate, and 1,800 nits peak brightness, ensuring ultra-smooth visuals and crisp details.
The phone also features Corning Gorilla Glass protection and carries IP69 and IP69K ratings, making it resistant to dust, water, and high-pressure sprays. At 8.1mm thickness and a weight range between 211 to 215 grams, it remains slim and manageable despite its large battery.
With the OnePlus 15, the brand seems to be redefining its premium segment strategy, focusing on powerful performance and camera excellence. As the smartphone market gets increasingly competitive, this launch could set new benchmarks against rivals like Samsung Galaxy S25 and iPhone 16.
The OnePlus 15 is shaping up to be not just another flagship — but the start of a new chapter in OnePlus’s journey to dominate the high-end Android market.
