Nothing is expanding its smartphone lineup with a new addition aimed at budget buyers. The company has officially confirmed that the Nothing Phone (3a) Lite will launch on October 29 at 6:30 PM. It’s being described as the brand’s first true entry-level smartphone, positioned below the Phone 3a and (3a) Pro, but above the CMF sub-brand.
Nothing Phone 3a Lite Launch Date in India
The company has scheduled the official unveiling for October 29 at 6:30 PM. This launch will mark Nothing’s first attempt to enter the affordable smartphone market, completing its lineup that already includes premium and mid-range options.
Nothing Phone (3a) Lite: Expected Price in India
The Nothing Phone (3a) Lite is expected to be priced at approximately ₹24,700 for the 8GB + 128GB variant. That’s a major price drop from the ₹33,900 tag of the standard Phone (3a).
Buyers can expect the phone in classic black and white colours. The sales in Europe start on November 4. However, it is not confirmed yet for India.
Nothing Phone 3a Lite: Design
Nothing continues to use its signature see-through aesthetic, but the Phone (3a) Lite takes a simpler approach. The Glyph lighting system — a fan favourite — makes a return, but in a minimal form.
Instead of the intricate strips or the “Glyph Matrix” seen on the flagship Phone (3), the Lite version may have only a single flashing LED or a few individual blinking bulbs. To cut costs, the back panel will likely be transparent plastic instead of glass. This keeps the unique design alive while offering durability and affordability.
Nothing Phone 3a Lite: Expected Specifications
Leaked details from Geekbench suggest a device with the model number A001T, believed to be the Nothing Phone (3a) Lite. It reportedly runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 chipset with 8GB RAM and Android 15.
The phone could sport a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, offering smooth visuals. Powering the device will likely be a 5,000mAh battery with 33W wired fast charging support.
On the camera side, the Lite model may feature a dual-lens rear setup — a 50MP primary sensor and an ultrawide lens, skipping the telephoto option from higher models to stay budget-friendly.
New Move for Nothing
The Phone (3a) Lite signals Nothing’s move into the budget 5G smartphone market. This launch could attract a new wave of buyers seeking a stylish, performance-driven phone at an affordable price.
With its transparent design, Dimensity 7300 chip, and affordable price tag, the Nothing Phone (3a) Lite could shake up the under ₹ 25,000 segment — directly competing with Redmi, Realme, and Samsung’s M-series phones.
This is more than just another smartphone — it’s Nothing’s step toward becoming a mass-market brand while staying true to its unique design DNA.
