Apple is about to release its next big software update, iOS 26, right after its September 9 event. The update will add new features like Liquid Glass, better Apple Intelligence, and fresh design options.
But not all Apple devices will get the update. Older models will miss out, which means some users may need to upgrade to enjoy the latest tools.
When Will iOS 26 Be Released?
Apple has not given an exact date yet. But looking at past updates, iOS 26 should launch later this month, most likely within a week of the event. Earlier updates like iOS 16, 17, and 18 also came out within days of Apple’s September events.
People using the Apple Developer Program or Beta Software Program have already tried the new features.
