Hundreds of Apple fans lined up outside the firm’s flagship store at Bandra Kurla Complex in Maharashtra’s Mumbai on Friday, September 19, to acquire the iPhone 17 series.
iPhone 17 Craze: Customers Line Up Before Sunrise
There was a massive gathering outside the Mumbai outlet with queues forming much earlier than opening time. People could be seen waiting even before sun rise to get a chance to purchase the freshly launched handsets. Customers were waiting patiently, some since early morning hours, to lay their hands on Apple’s latest offering.
Clients throng Apple Store in Bandra Kurla Complex to buy iPhone 17. One of them said to news agency PTI, “I was waiting in the queue since 3 am. I have come from Jogeshwari. I was very excited. waiting for this phone since last six months.”
In Delhi, Apple’s iPhone 17 series launch attracted huge crowds, with long queues forming at the company’s Saket store on Friday morning.

iPhone 17 Price in India: Ranges from ₹82,900 to ₹2,29,900
One customer, Irfan said to news agency ANI, “I’ve come to purchase orange iPhone 17 PRO Max. I’ve been waiting since 8 pm. This time, there are updates to the camera and battery, and the design is also different.”Recently launched by Apple, the iPhone 17 series has a price range between ₹82,900 and ₹2,29,900. The smartphones are already on sale in India from September 19, both for pre-booked and walk-in customers.
In a bid to ramp up sales, Apple’s distributors and retail partners have launched a slew of offers such as cashback, exchange bonus, and long-term EMI plans. Also, customers upgrading from older iPhone models can get bundled offers on wearables and accessories.

Ingram Micro makes announcement of benefits
Ingram Micro, Apple’s biggest distributor in India, has made public financial benefits to customers who buy the iPhone 17 series. Customers who buy the iPhone 17 get an instant cashback of ₹6,000, besides a six-month no-charge EMI facility. The iPhone 17 Pro, Pro Max, and iPhone Air are accompanied by ₹4,000 cashback and the same EMI benefit.
The customers swapping their eligible devices are eligible for an exchange bonus of up to ₹7,000. No-cost EMI options for 24 months are also provided for leading banks and financial institutions.
