Apple is getting ready to launch more products after the success of the iPhone 17 series. Both the Pro and standard iPhone 17 models have been very popular, and the new orange colour has attracted a lot of attention.
Apple also added some Pro-level features to the standard iPhone 17, making it even more appealing to buyers. With this strong demand, Apple is planning to release more devices in late 2025 and early 2026.
Apple is expected to officially announce the M5 iPad Pro in October 2025, with availability likely following shortly after the announcement. This timeline aligns with Apple's typical product release patterns and is supported by recent leaks and reports.

Before Apple officially announces the next iPad Pro, a leaked video has given fans a first look at the 13-inch iPad Pro with the new M5 chip. The video was uploaded by Russian YouTuber Wylsacom, who is known for leaking Apple products ahead of time. This channel had previously revealed the 14-inch MacBook Pro with the M4 chip before it launched, which makes this leak believable.
The unboxing video shows the iPad Pro in a Space Black colour with 256GB of storage. The design looks almost the same as the current M4 iPad Pro. It has a single rear camera, four speakers, and a Smart Connector. The tablet is very thin at 5.1mm. One noticeable change is that the “iPad Pro” engraving on the back is now missing.

The new iPad Pro will have Apple’s M5 chip, which is expected to be more powerful than the M4 chip. Early Geekbench 6 tests shown in the video suggest a 12% increase in multi-core CPU performance compared to the M4. The M5 chip has a nine-core CPU, with three high-performance cores and six efficiency cores.
The graphics performance also looks much better. Metal benchmark scores indicate up to 36% higher GPU performance. The leaked 256GB model comes with 12GB of RAM, which is more than the 8GB RAM in the current M4 version.
The tablet runs on iPadOS 26. The battery in the leaked model has a manufacture date of August 2025, which confirms it is a recent production unit.

There are also rumours that Apple might add a second front camera to the new iPad Pro. This would make video calls better in both portrait and landscape modes. This feature could be very useful for professionals, students, and anyone who uses the iPad for online meetings.
Apple is expected to confirm all these details when it officially announces the device later this month.
The iPad Pro M5 will come with more RAM, improved graphics, and faster speed. Creators, designers, and gamers who require a powerful tablet for programs that demand great performance will find these additions appealing. But even with all of these upgrades, the cost can go up in comparison to the prior model.
