Honor may soon expand its Magic 8 lineup with a new compact model. A fresh leak now hints at what the upcoming Honor Magic 8 Mini could offer. The phone may target users who want a smaller device without compromising on premium features. It may also challenge other compact flagships expected to launch this year.

Honor launched the Magic 8 and Magic 8 Pro in October. Soon after, reports started to hint at a compact version of the same. While Honor has not announced this device yet, several leaks now refer to it as the “Magic 8 Mini.”
A new tip from Digital Chat Station adds more details. The tipster shared information based on a pre-production unit. The leak says the phone may come with a very slim design. Its thickness may stay between 5–6 mm, making it one of the thinnest phones in the compact category.
Honor Magic 8 Mini: Display & Camera Specs Leak
The Magic 8 Mini may feature a 6.31-inch flat LTPO screen. The display may support a 1.5K resolution, giving the phone a premium viewing experience in a smaller size.
The camera setup may offer two possibilities. The phone may carry a 200MP primary camera. But the leak also suggests Honor may choose a 50MP 1/1.5″ sensor instead. The good news is that the phone is expected to include a telephoto lens, which is unusual for compact phones.
Honor Magic 8 Mini: Performance & Battery Expectations
Powering the device, the leak suggests the Dimensity 9500 chipset. The same processor powers the Vivo X300. This chipset may help the phone deliver smooth performance, even with a slim frame.
The thin design may limit battery capacity. The Magic 8 Mini may pack a 5,500mAh battery. While smaller than the Vivo X300’s 6,040mAh battery, it is still notable for such a slim phone.
