The hype for GTA 6 is massive. So far, Rockstar has released just two short teaser clips—less than five minutes of footage in total. The clips show glimpses of Vice City and the State of Leonida. With the game due on May 26, 2026, fans are demanding more. But Rockstar is mysterious. So, will there be another trailer this time?

GTA 6 Launch & Price in India

Rockstar has confirmed May 26, 2026, as the global launch date for GTA 6, including India.  The standard edition in India is expected to be priced around ₹5,999. Special or deluxe editions could cost ₹7,299 or more.  There’s also speculation that due to regional pricing and global trends, the price might go even higher—perhaps closer to ₹9,000

The initial release will be for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. A PC version is expected at a later date. This pricing in India matters because it gives Indian gamers a sense of how Rockstar values regional markets. It also hints at how ambitious the company is with its global pricing strategy.

GTA 6 Third Trailer: What to Expect?

If Rockstar releases a third trailer, it might include:

  • A gameplay trailer showing missions, HUD, combat, and driving controls.
  • A world trailer highlighting terrain, weather, wildlife, and city regions.
  • A slice-of-life trailer focused on leisure activities—hobbies, minigames, side missions.
  • New character interactions to show how NPCs and main cast communicate.
  • More map previews to expand our mental model of Vice City and Leonida.

Because Rockstar is unpredictable, they could surprise us with something totally different—maybe even an interactive trailer or slice of story.

Rockstar Keeps Us Guessing

The team at GTANet.com—specifically GTAKid—says, “Rockstar is known to keep us on our toes during the run-up to a new game launch—you never really know what you’re going to get or when.” He hopes a new trailer will dig deeper, showing us how missions work, how characters interact, and what side-activities we can enjoy.

Tez, a prominent GTA community figure, shares that hope. “I’d really love to see the third trailer shift focus away from the main story and instead dive deeper into the day-to-day life and hobbies of Leonida’s citizens … showing us the type of activities we could have in-game like fishing, hunting, off-roading, drifting, street racing, perhaps horse racing, scuba diving, the type of sports and bar games we would have, and so on, that’d be fantastic.”

Spider-Vice, a moderator on GTA Forums, also expects more videos ahead of the launch. He notes that earlier GTA and Red Dead games had both story trailers and gameplay trailers showing how the game feels and plays. He adds that Rockstar might try a new approach this time, so we may see multiple types of trailers.

Marketing Strategy & Leak Control

An interesting angle here is Rockstar’s marketing strategy and leak prevention. In recent years, leaks forced the studio’s hand in revealing content early. A stricter control over leaks now may encourage them to pace themselves—releasing trailers on their schedule, not reacting to leaks.

That means the third trailer could arrive at a moment they control to dominate headlines. Dropping it during a big gaming event or around a major story reveal could keep the buzz high.

Countdown to Vice City Begins

Nothing is guaranteed with Rockstar. But with more than six months until launch, there’s time. We may well see a third trailer. If we do, it could deepen our understanding of gameplay, life in Leonida, and Rockstar’s bold marketing moves.
