A surge in unexplained sightings along U.S. coastlines has put scientists and military experts on high alert. This unusual phenomenon could be due to Unidentified Submersible Objects (USOs) craft that dive into or come up from the ocean without a trace.
The Enigma app is a foremost UFO tracking platform has logged thousands of such reports since its kickoff in 2022 and is now tallying the more than 30,000 sightings of unidentified aerial and underwater objects with rising numbers, more pressing questions about the origin and nature of these sightings are moving to the forefront.
What is the Enigma App
Enigma takes credit for being the world’s largest queryable historical sighting database for global UFO sightings and is one of the most significant platforms in monitoring so-called unidentified phenomena. A notable finding from the app is that out of approximately 9,000 sightings within 10 miles from the U.S. shorelines, over 500 occurred within five miles from the major bodies of water.

About 150 of these sightings involved reports of the objects either hovering over the water or plunging into its depths. Such data provide overwhelming evidence of increasingly frequent unexplained activities along the coastline.
Where Are These Sightings Happening?
These strange reports have concentrated in two states: California and Florida with its long Pacific coastline, California has had 389 sightings whereas Florida reported 306. Statistically, these reports cannot be regarded as mere coincidences, as these remain counted among the highest clusters of unexplained phenomena along the U.S. coasts.
Some of the reports boast videos of glowing lights moving under the ocean’s surface, making this already mysterious sighting even more so. The maps put out by Enigma show areas of concentrated activity plotted neatly along both East and West Coasts in an even more glaring account of the geographical pattern these events seem to follow.
Increasing National Security Concern
Most UFOs are usually cited as either mirage or identification errors but experts say that these ocean related incidents deserve being studied. Retired U.S. Navy Rear Admiral Tim Gallaudet has expressed concerns about the growing number of credible sightings occurring in U.S. waters. In the recent report, Gallaudet considered the importance of objects that appear to glide from air into the sea without any observable impact or splash to be something that could have world-altering ramifications in terms of national security and scientific advancement.

The military’s response to such sightings has remained circumspect to illustrate, the Pentagon asserted that an unidentified object was tracked to have entered the Pacific Ocean near San Diego during the 2019 USS Omaha incident. Even more astounding was the fact that this object seemed to suddenly disappear into the water, without any observable debris or sign of disturbance. All of these incidents have lent credence to the theory about the possibility of government cover ups concerning these encounters.
How USO sightings off U.S
An increase in USO sightings off U.S. coastlines raises essential questions regarding the character of these unexplained phenomena. Although the skeptics abound, this enormous tally of credible reports those validated by military and scientific authorities, should be subject to serious investigation.
As this mystery deepens, it is apparent that deciphering these sightings holds the potential for revolutionary insight into both extraterrestrial and underwater technology until then, USO remains a mystery and we are left asking what lies beneath our oceans.
