Telangana BJP President N. Ramchander Rao on Friday said that India has become stronger, safer and more confident under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, while highlighting the achievements of the NDA government over the last 12 years.
Addressing the Prabuddha Varg Sammelan in Secunderabad, attended by Defence Minister Rajnath Singh as the chief guest, Ramchander Rao welcomed the Union Minister and expressed gratitude for his presence despite a busy schedule. He also thanked intellectuals, ex-servicemen, prominent citizens, party leaders and well-wishers who attended the programme in large numbers.
Speaking on national security, Ramchander Rao said the country is fortunate to have Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Defence Minister Rajnath Singh at the helm, crediting them with strengthening India’s defence preparedness and security framework. He noted that India had demonstrated its courage and determination through decisive actions such as the surgical strikes and Operation Sindoor.
He said the Modi government had adopted a firm approach towards terrorism and all threats to national security. According to him, people across the country have complete faith that India remains secure under Modi’s leadership.
Highlighting the growing role of women in national defence, Ramchander Rao described Operation Sindoor as a symbol of women-led courage and commitment. He said the Centre has expanded opportunities for women in the armed forces, reflecting its commitment to empowering women through initiatives aimed at strengthening Nari Shakti.
Reviewing the NDA government’s 12-year journey, the BJP leader said the country had progressed with the principles of public trust, development and welfare. He stated that India has emerged as the world’s fourth-largest economy and is steadily moving towards the vision of a developed nation under the Viksit Bharat mission.
Ramchander Rao said Prime Minister Modi had successfully navigated challenges ranging from national security concerns to global crises and economic development. He added that the people’s confidence in Modi’s leadership continues to grow as the country advances on the path of progress.
Concluding his address, he expressed confidence that Narendra Modi would continue to receive public support in the future and lead India towards achieving the goal of Viksit Bharat, while ensuring development, welfare and national pride.
