Greater Kailash also saw a BJP win, with candidate Anjum Mandal securing victory by 4,065 votes. These wins reinforce the party’s grassroots strength and organisational reach across diverse wards.
AAP and Congress Also Make Their Mark
Though the BJP dominated overall, the bypolls also offered wins for other parties. AAP’s Ram Swaroop Kanojia claimed the seat in Dakshin Puri ward, showing the party retains pockets of voter support amid mixed results.
Meanwhile, Congress’s Suresh Chaudhary won in Sangam Vihar A ward with 12,766 votes — a sign that voters in some areas still turn to national opposition parties for local representation.
