The Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) on Wednesday expelled ten more leaders, including sitting MLA Fateh Bahadur Singh, for indulging in "anti-party activities". The disciplinary action comes just days before the upcoming Bihar Assembly Elections, intensifying the internal turmoil within the party.
The decision follows the expulsion of two sitting MLAs and 25 other leaders on Tuesday. The RJD, led by Tejashwi Yadav, has been taking strict measures against rebels contesting against its official candidates after being denied tickets.
According to PTI, Fateh Bahadur Singh, who represents Dehri constituency, has been expelled along with nine others. The list also includes state vice president Satish Kumar and former MLAs Gulam Jilani Warsi and Reyazul Haq Raju.

Reacting to the series of expulsions, BJP IT Cell head Amit Malviya mocked the RJD, saying the party could soon run out of both leaders and supporters.
Sharing the expulsion list on his official X (formerly Twitter) handle, Malviya wrote, “At this rate, the party will soon be left without any workers as well as voters.”
The RJD’s internal rift has deepened as many leaders who were denied tickets have chosen to contest as independents or support rival candidates. Party insiders fear the infighting could impact its performance in key constituencies during the elections.
Bihar will go to the polls in two phases — November 6 and November 11, with vote counting on November 14. The contest is expected to be tight between the ruling NDA and the opposition INDIA bloc, of which the RJD is a key member.
Political observers believe that the expulsions highlight the growing challenges RJD faces in maintaining unity within its ranks ahead of the high-stakes election.
