NIA PUTS 10 NOTORIOUS GANGS ON THE RADAR, READIES DOSSIER

The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has made a dossier on 10 dreaded gangsters operating in Delhi-NCR, Haryana, Punjab, Rajasthan and western Uttar Pradesh. The dossier has, according to well-placed sources in the NIA, prominent gangs like the Bawana and Bishnoi gangs in the list, which the agency has put on its radar.

According to the NIA dossier, dreaded gangsters like Neeraj Sehrawat alias Neeraj Bawana, also nicknamed Delhi’s Dawood, and his gang members are involved in the killing of many bigwigs and spreading terror

in Delhi-NCR and other states. Bawana is also engaged in a deadly gang war with his rival Lawrence Bishnoi gang.

Both these criminal syndicates have spread a reign of terror across states like Delhi, Punjab, Rajasthan, Haryana and Uttar Pradesh, which has forced the Union Ministry of Home Affairs to sit up and take notice. Officials in the Home Ministry told The Daily Guardian that Home Minister Amit Shah has taken a serious view of the issue and has directed the NIA to act against these gangs. The home minister has held five high-level meetings between 20 and 25 August in this regard.

These meetings had in attendance top officials from the NIA, Delhi Police Special Cell, Home Ministry and Intelligence Bureau. The interior ministry came to the conclusion that these gangsters are working in the manner of terrorists and thus all their acts should be investigated by the central anti-terror agency.

The NIA has prepared the dossier and started its investigation into these dreaded gangs. Keeping in view the zero tolerance policy of the Home Ministry, the NIA has been given clear-cut instruction to wipe these gangs out, sources said.
