MP Yogendra Chandolia inspects Sharma Enclave, orders drainage fix within a week

NEW DELHI: BJP MP from Northwest Delhi Yogendra Chandolia conducted an inspection of Sharma Enclave in the Kirari Assembly area, a locality that has been in headlines for severe flooding.

Senior officials from the Delhi Development Authority, Delhi Jal Board and the Municipal Corporation of Delhi accompanied Chandolia while he walked through the water-logged streets, listened to residents’ grievances.

Chandolia directed the officials to make proper drainage arrangements in the colony within a week.

He further said Anil Jha should clarify whether he ever allocated any funds from the MLA fund for Sharma Enclave. Despite being MLAs for 17 years, Anil Jha and Rituraj must explain how many times they raised Kirari’s water-logging issue before the Delhi government led by Arvind Kejriwal or the earlier Congress government.

Chandolia expressed gratitude to Delhi Chief Minister Mrs. Rekha Gupta for approving Rs 29.42 crore for various development works in the Kirari Assembly constituency and stated that the BJP government in Delhi will now change the face of Kirari.
