A day after victory in the Bihar state elections, the BJP moved quickly to discipline its internal dissenters. The party suspended three senior figures: former Union Minister RK Singh, Legislative Council member Ashok Agarwal, and Katihar Mayor Usha Agarwal for "anti-party activities."
The notice issued by the Bihar BJP state headquarters in-charge, Arvind Sharma, mentions that the suspended leaders must give their explanation within a week, or else they will be permanently ousted from the party.
