Agastya Nanda will be essaying the role of the fearless Second Lieutenant Arun Khetarpal in Ikkis. Helmed by the National Award-winning Sriram Raghavan, the biographical war drama film is inspired by the incredible life of the decorated Indian Army officer who was posthumously awarded the Param Vir Chakra-the highest military honour in India.
The film will trace the journey of the 21-year-old lieutenant, depicting his valour, leadership, and sacrifice in the most epic Indo-Pak War of 1971 at the Battle of Basantar, in which he alone destroyed many enemy tanks. This powerful film marks a big-screen transition for Nanda.
