Navratri 2025 Significance
The name Navratri literally is “nine nights.” Each morning is spent honoring a different incarnation of Goddess Durga, symbolizing strength, wisdom, bravery, and devotion. The tenth day, which is observed as Vijayadashami (Dussehra), is the victory of good over evil, representing Maa Durga having defeated Mahishasura.
Navratri is not just a season of spiritual worship but also of celebration of cultural heritage. Fasts are kept, Garba and Dandiya are danced to, and community pujas are performed with utmost fervor.
