For conducting the holy Maa Lakshmi Puja, the favorable muhurat in Mumbai is between 7:41 PM to 8:41 PM IST, giving devotees an hour to pray to Goddess Lakshmi and Lord Ganesha. This timing is within the Pradosh Kaal, i.e., from 6:12 PM to 8:40 PM, and coincides with the Vrishabha Kaal or Taurus Lagna, which is a stable and very auspicious astrological time for starting rituals.

The Amavasya Tithi, the new moon day and a religiously auspicious time, starts at 3:44 PM today on October 20 and ends at 5:54 PM tomorrow on October 21, 2025 in Mumbai.
