Former Bihar MLA and JD(U) candidate in the forthcoming Bihar assembly elections, Anant Singh, was arrested early Sunday morning in connection with the murder of Jan Suraaj supporter Dular Chand Yadav.
Singh, the candidate from Mokama and husband of sitting MLA Neelam Devi, was arrested at his residence in Barh. Apart from Singh, police arrested two other persons, Manikant Thakur and Ranjeet Ram, who were eyewitnesses to the crime, SSP Patna, Kartikeya Sharma confirmed.
