SSC Constable GD Recruitment 2026: The Staff Selection Commission has initiated the recruitment process for SSC Constable GD 2026, for which applications will be invited for 25,487 General Duty posts across the Central Armed Police Forces, SSF, and Assam Rifles.
The registrations, which will continue throughout December 2025, are expected to shape one of the biggest national-level recruitments for uniformed services. The coming selection drive is likely to draw a huge response among aspirants who aim to enter India's paramilitary forces.

The vacancies are variable and 10% are reserved for ex-servicemen.
Online application form: The application form is available at ssc.gov.in. The applications can be submitted from December 1 to December 31, 2025. Candidates are required to do a fresh One-Time Registration on the new portal and upload a real-time photograph and signature followed by a fee payment.
Only Indian nationals are eligible to apply. Applicants should have passed Class 10 from a recognized board before January 1, 2026. The age limit ranges from 18 to 23 years with the above-mentioned relaxations. Height, chest and weight requirements are applicable according to the PET/PST guidelines.
Selected candidates will be given Pay Level 3 Rs. 21,700 – Rs. 69,100 plus allowances as per posting location.
