Medical aspirants waiting for NEET PG 2025 counselling may receive clarity soon. The Federation of All India Medical Associations (FAIMA) has indicated that the process is likely to start by mid-October. In a recent social media post, FAIMA stated, “As per our communication with MOHFW officials, NEET PG counselling is most likely to begin by mid-October. Further details awaited. Stay tuned!"
This announcement comes after several weeks of uncertainty, as candidates have been anxiously waiting for official confirmation. The delay has been compounded by ongoing legal proceedings related to NEET PG 2025.
The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC), responsible for conducting the counselling, is expected to publish the official schedule on its website mcc.nic.in. Once the schedule is released, candidates will be able to register, fill in their choices, and participate in seat allotment according to MCC guidelines.
The delay in counselling is linked to petitions filed by NEET PG 2025 candidates and the United Doctors Front (UDF). The Supreme Court has now directed the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) to respond to these petitions within two weeks. These legal developments are closely monitored by thousands of aspirants, as they directly affect the timeline for postgraduate medical admissions.
