Lalit Narayan Mithila University (LNMU) has announced the start of registration for undergraduate admission 2025 on vacant seats. The registration window will open on September 1 and 2, 2025. Interested candidates can apply online through the official website lnmu.ac.in.
As per the university’s notice, students who did not get enrolled after the third selection list can now apply for the remaining seats. The registration process will be held online. Candidates must log in with their application ID, date of birth, and password to access the portal.
The varsity has also uploaded the college-wise subject vacancy list on its website. This will help applicants choose the available seats before applying.
The process has been designed to give another chance to students who missed earlier rounds. Candidates can select the college of their choice online for on-spot enrollment. The university will then prepare a fresh selection list.

According to the notice, the new selection list will be released on September 4, 2025, on the official website.
The portal allows candidates whose names are on the selection list to download their selection letters. The designated colleges' admission procedure will take place from September 8 to September 10, 2025.
This timeline ensures that the vacant seats do not remain unfilled and deserving students get one more opportunity to join the four-year UG program for the 2025–29 session.

Many students who could not secure seats in earlier rounds now have a fresh chance. LNMU’s move aims to ensure maximum enrollment and reduce the number of unfilled seats across colleges. This round also brings transparency since the subject-wise vacancy list is already available online.
