Delhi University has released the vacant seat list for Round 2 of its UG admissions, giving aspiring students fresh opportunities to secure their preferred colleges and courses under the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS–UG 2025).

Key Dates & Deadlines to Know

  • Vacant seat list live from: July 24 at 5 PM

  • Preference modification window: July 24–25

  • Second allotment results declared: July 28 at 5 PM

  • Seat acceptance window: July 28, 5 PM

  • Document verification period: July 28–31

  • Final fee payment deadline: August 1, 2025

Why This Round Matters

Roughly 86% of seats, that’s around 71,600, were filled during Round 1 over 62,000 confirmed accepts and nearly 44,000 students opting for upgrades. This left many vacancies, especially in coveted programs like B.Com (Hons), BA (Hons) Political Science, and more.

Round 2 gives students another shot at securing seats in top colleges like Hindu College, SRCC, LSR, Miranda House, Kirori Mal College, and Lady Shri Ram College, many of which still have openings in high-demand courses

What to Expect in Round 2

Seat cut-offs are expected to drop across most streams, especially in Commerce and Humanities. Science programs may see smaller declines but still offer opportunities in off-campus and general colleges.

This makes Round 2 strategically crucial; some students who missed the first round could still make it into popular programs like English (Hons), Political Science, or History, depending on where the vacancies lie.
